Alexander has a thoracic spinal cord injury at level T4.

He is very happy with the BerkelBike, and tells about it in this clip. He says that, although he also has a regular handbike, he prefers the handbike/recumbent bike combination of the BerkelBike, because it is much better for his physical fitness. Alexander uses the BerkelBike Connect, the coupling handbike.
